Staffolo: Pasta workshop
Many ingredients are not needed for this: water, flour, eggs, salt and some water.
Have you always wanted to make your own pasta? Then there is no better teacher than an Italian mama. Carla owns a small farm near Staffolo, where she grows vegetables and wheat.
They then take the grain to an old mill to obtain wheat flour for bread and pasta. In addition, she has extensive knowledge about the wild plants and herbs in the area.
She prepares the pasta dough together with the guests. She then makes the sauce with vegetables or wild plants from her garden.
The workshop ends with a shared meal where the pasta that they made together is served. Sometimes Carla provides a salad of wild plants and edible flowers, or delicious homemade ice cream.
All this served in an idyllic spot!
For those who are interested, a walk may follow with an explanation about the wild plants and herbs on her domain.
